Meet Me, The DRX 9000 Table That Talks Back

(And Relieves Back Pain)

Hey there—down here! Yep, it’s me, Dr. Livingston’s DRX 9000. Most people just call me “the table,” but let’s be frank: I’m not going to be your favorite spot on which to take a nap. I’m DRX 9000 and  I’m a pretty big deal in the world of back pain relief, and I’d love to tell you what it’s like to spend some time with me.

First of all, I know what it’s like for you when you have a back pain that is totally wearing you down. You might have been fighting it for months, or maybe it came out of nowhere after moving a heavy carton or spending an extra-long day at your desk. I’m betting that you’ve probably tried stretches, ice packs, or maybe some sort of posture gadget. And then, comes the day when you see me in Dr. Livingston’s office and wonder, “What is that weird table?” Don’t think you’re going to hurt my feelings—most people ask about me when they see me for the first time.

So, in a nutshell, here’s what I do: I’m built to take some of the pressure off your spine. When Dr. Livingston sets you up on me, you’ll be lying comfortably while I gently and precisely stretch your spine. This is all done under the computer’s control. No scary stuff—just slow, steady movements. The idea is that I create some negative pressure inside the discs that are between your vertebrae. Try to think of your spine as a stack of marshmallows with jelly in the middle—sometimes that jelly can slip out and press on a nerve. With my gentle and professional stretch, I can help nudge that jelly back where it belongs and give your nerves a break.

I’m sure that by now you’re wondering, “Is this going to hurt?” Good news—most people find time spent on me to be totally relaxing. You’ll be lying back, maybe listening to some music on your earbuds, while I go through smooth cycles of gentle stretching and relaxing. Each session is about 30 to 45 minutes. Think of it as dedicated time for your spine to reset.

Now, as Dr. Livingston will tell you I’m not the answer for everyone. If you’re dealing with herniated or bulging discs, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, or just stubborn low back pain, we will be a great match. But if you’re pregnant, have certain implants, spinal fractures, or a few other conditions, Dr. Livingston will steer you in another direction. Safety is always Dr. Livingston’s first priority.

Most folks come see me for a series of visits—usually somewhere between 15 and 30 sessions. There’s no homework, no special gear, and definitely no needles. When you’re done? You just get up and get back to your day. No recovery time, no scars, and no groggy feeling.

I won’t claim I’m magic, but I’ve helped a lot of people find relief when nothing else seemed to work. If you’re curious, call Dr. Livingston’s office at 440-528-0005 and ask him if time with his DRX 9000 would be a good fit. Your back might thank you—and honestly, I will too. It’s not every day a table gets to help people feel better.
